Ayurveda
Ayurveda, the ancient Indian natural health tradition, has a proven
history of more than 4000 years. It is one of the earliest and
most rigorous of scientific disciplines. It is a unique system
of health care concerned about the prevention and cure of diseases.
It is not only a science of life rather, a way of life. It aims
at achieving a harmonious physical, mental and spiritual life
blended with the environment. In the present times Ayurveda has
emerged as one of the most important streams of medicines not
only in India but all over the world.
Ayurveda is a holistic way of approach to health
and views the body, as a whole. Constitution (Prakruti), daily
and seasonal routines (Dina & Ritu charya), Detoxification
measures (Panchakarma), Rejuvenation therapy (Rasayana) etc, are
some of the special contributions of Ayurveda to the health care
systems.. All these measures (i.e. medicines, diet and regimens)
are very natural.
